Some of our Youth Projects

IN THE MIX
This “social experiment” is our attempt to foster unity in Marks gate, an isolated estate in Barking and Dagenham. The project is bringing about social cohesion by uniting residents from different cultures and age groups. IN THE MIX festival is in its second year and is already pulling together diverse mix of people and allowing them to interact.
LEAN ON ME
LEAN ON ME anti-bullying project aims to provide support to young people between the ages of 10-16 years old who are victims of bullying. The service also provides support to the families of the young people. We deliver Lean on me in youth groups, schools and homes.
CASH & CAREERS
Cash n Careers workshops are part of the Cash n Careers programme for young people between 16 and 19 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET). The workshops will support the young people on the programme in their attempt to secure employment or return to education.
HAROLD-HILL MEDIA PROJECT
The project aims to engage young people in Harold Hill in line with the Children’s fund priority for junior youth provision. The project will build the self-esteem of the participants, challenge them to take responsibility for their actions and bring about change in their attitudes to their environment as a whole.
SPACE
Seedtime Projects Activity Centre, SPACE is now a household name in Marks gate, most young people living on the estate know where to come when they want to use the internet or take part in any of our variety of projects after school. SPACE is bringing young people together to work and play in a safe environment, away from trouble and the elements.
